Licensed Mental Health Provider

OVERVIEW 

Licensed clinical staff member working with youth up to age 18 in outpatient clinical setting, primarily working with children and families with a history of trauma in a designated youth service agency. CYS is a rapidly growing private non-profit in Ardmore, OK with clients in all surrounding counties. 


BENEFITS & SCHEDULE 

Part-time and full-time positions available

Pay starts at $63,500 for supervised LMHP and up; based on licensure status and experience 

Flexible scheduling

FT positions: paid vacation, sick leave, 12 paid holidays per year, 100% employer covered health and dental benefits, 3% retirement contribution match, paid bereavement leave, and voluntary employee-paid benefits- disability, life insurance, vision, and emergency medical transportation coverage, etc. 

Supervision provided at no cost to employee

Employer paid continuing education

We will consider people in their internships for their Master's degree 


MINIMUM EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS 

  • Must pass a pre-employment background check and alcohol/drug screening
  • Master's degree in relevant clinical field
  • Licensed or under Supervision
  • Ability to work well with team members
  • Strong ethical standards

Resident Assistant

OVERVIEW

Position is working with homeless youth up to age 18 in a home-like setting. RA is responsible for supervision and discipline as typical for teenagers. 


BENEFITS & SCHEDULE

Part-time positions available at this time

Pay starts at $15.00/hour and up; based on experience and training

Nights & Weekends only ($1 pay differential for these shifts)

MINIMUM EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS

  • Must pass pre-employment background check and alcohol/drug screening
  • Criminal history not permitted: violent crimes, drug/alcohol offenses, crimes against children, crimes against animals (state-mandated, with no exceptions)
  • HS Diploma or GED
  • Ability to work well with team members
  • Strong ethical standards

PREFERRED

  • Proficient in Spanish
  • Trauma focused training and experience
  • Lived experience: LGBTQIAA+, homelessness

Committee Member: unpaid/voluntary

Transitional Living Committee member

Members of this committee are not considered a member of the Board of Directors and as such as not required to complete a background check.


This committee is forming to develop and implement a transitional living program based on empirical data and research for southern Oklahoma. Committee members are expected to volunteer around 3 hours per month for the next 9-12 months toward committee activities. Activities will include meetings, emails, research, reading, and advocacy. 


We are developing a diverse committee in a safe place to share your thoughts and perspectives and hear those of others. We need to hear from people of all walks of life in order to develop the most appropriate and comprehensive program possible. 


MEMBERS NEEDED:

Lived experience of houselessness in teen and young adult years

LGBTQIAA+ identified persons

People from all racial backgrounds

People from all socioeconomic backgrounds

People in the housing industry- construction, real estate, banking, owners of rental properties, etc.

People who are passionate about helping young adults succeed
