Licensed Mental Health Professional

Licensed Mental Health Professional - Master's Level

OVERVIEW

Under general direction of the Clinical Director, this position is responsible for providing clinical assessment and services, including but not limited to individual counseling, group counseling, family counseling, and/or case management services to youth and families in Carter and Love counties.

  • Providing clinical services in a youth service agency, working with children, families, and young adults with histories of complex developmental trauma
  • Must utilize research-based, data-driven interventions or be willing to receive training in such interventions of your choosing and interest, paid for by grants and meeting grant requirements

  • Competitive pay starting at $70,000 and up (Master's level internship and up)

  • Vacation leave accrues, awarded immediately, available to use after 4 weeks employment.

  • Supervision provided at no cost to employee for LPCs and LMFTs
  • We do hire those in their Master's Internships, as well as those applying for Candidacy, and those in their LPC Candidacy.

MINIMUM EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS

  • Must pass a pre-employment background check and alcohol/drug screening
  • Master's degree in relevant clinical field OR Master's Level Internship
  • Fully licensed, under Supervision, or eligible to be under Supervision
  • Ability to work well within a small team
  • Strong ethical standards

  • Bilingual- proficient in Spanish & English

Residential Assistant

OVERVIEW

Position is working with unhoused youth up to age 18 in a home-like setting. RA is responsible for supervision and discipline as is typical for teenagers, particularly those with a history of trauma.  
 

BENEFITS & SCHEDULE

Part-time positions available at this time

Pay starts at $16.00/hour and up; based on experience and training

Nights & Weekends ONLY at this time ($1 pay differential for these shifts)

MINIMUM EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS

  • Must pass pre-employment background check and alcohol/drug screening
  • Criminal history not permitted: Violent crimes, drug/alcohol offenses, crimes against children, crimes against animals (state-mandated, with no exceptions)
  • HS Diploma or GED
  • Ability to work well with diverse team members and diverse youth
  • Strong ethical standards


PREFERRED

  • Proficient in Spanish
  • Trauma focused training and experience
  • Lived experience: LGBTQIAA+, homelessness, etc.
